Short and Sweet
Concealed carry qualification is probably enough if you don't plan to carry your gun. Am I trying to be funny? Not in the least. State requirements will ensure you can load and fire your weapon at a human sized target at a moderate distance. More importantly, you will learn what lawful use of your weapon entails as well as what is considered unlawful use (including prohibited places of carry). You will also learn when force is justified (including deadly force). If you plan on carrying your gun in public, get more training.
